Frequently Asked Questions
-
Our practice is designed for thoughtful adults seeking greater clarity, emotional well-being, and personal growth. We work with individuals navigating anxiety, relationship challenges, life transitions, self-esteem concerns, stress, and feelings of disconnection from themselves or their lives.
-
Our practice may not be the best fit for individuals seeking crisis services, immediate psychiatric care, or a highly directive, advice-only approach.
-
We believe therapy should be as unique as the individual seeking it. Our personalized, integrative approach considers your personality, strengths, life experiences, relationships, emotions, and goals to create a therapeutic experience tailored specifically to you.
-
The first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another. We’ll discuss your concerns, personal history, goals for therapy, and any questions you may have about the therapeutic process.
-
Yes. All sessions are conducted virtually through a secure, HIPAA-compliant platform, allowing you to access support from the comfort and privacy of your own space anywhere in New York State.
-
Individual therapy sessions are 45 minutes in length and are typically scheduled on a weekly or bi-weekly basis. The frequency of sessions may be adjusted over time based on your goals, needs, and progress.
-
Every person’s journey is unique. Some clients seek support for a specific challenge or life transition, while others choose longer-term therapy focused on deeper healing, self-discovery, and lasting personal growth.
-
The fee for individual psychotherapy is $225 per 45-minute session.
Personalized Psychotherapy is an out-of-network private practice and does not bill insurance directly. If your insurance plan includes out-of-network mental health benefits, you may be eligible for reimbursement for a portion of your session fee. The amount reimbursed depends on your specific insurance plan and out-of-network coverage.
To make the reimbursement process as simple as possible, we will provide you with a superbill (an itemized receipt) that you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. If you have any questions about your out-of-network benefits, we are happy to help you better understand your coverage before you begin therapy.
-
Yes. Your privacy is extremely important. Everything you share in therapy is confidential, except in specific situations required by law. These exceptions will be reviewed with you during the informed consent process.
-
The first step is scheduling a complimentary consultation. We’ll discuss your needs, answer any questions, and determine whether our practice feels like the right fit for you.

Therapy and coaching each serve different purposes, and the right fit depends on your goals.
Therapy focuses on emotional healing, mental health, and helping you navigate challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship concerns, and life transitions. It provides a safe, supportive space to process your experiences, deepen self-understanding, and create lasting emotional well-being. Therapy services are available to clients located in New York State, where our clinicians are licensed to practice.
Coaching is designed for individuals who are emotionally well and ready to gain greater clarity, pursue personal or professional goals, and create intentional, meaningful change. Rather than treating mental health conditions, coaching focuses on helping you build on your strengths, increase self-awareness, overcome obstacles, and move toward a life and career that feel more aligned with your values and aspirations. Because coaching is not psychotherapy or mental health treatment, coaching services are generally available to clients regardless of their state or location.
If you’re seeking support with personal growth, greater alignment, or creating a more intentional and fulfilling life, we invite you to explore Elevated Integrative Coaching to learn more about Natalia’s integrative, psychologically informed coaching services.
